The detail rivals official Giants-made maps, even exceeds in areas. But none of the AI can reach the sell points that have been put in far-off hard to reach places. It's just too frustrating babysitting delivery drivers.

Is there a dedicated place somewhere for placing silos, or do I need to requisition some field somewhere for them? Can't seem to find any silos placed by default either, other than the train silos...

i love the map but im only having one problem, i cant switch between tools. like i cant switch from my tractor to a seeder. is there any work around or did i miss something. TIA

I have had a few mod conflicts with this map I love this map hope it get's a update down the road 

how can i get rid of the old hay wagons on the map it won't let me delete them

Some buildings does not have collision

i cant ted up alfalfa or clover barely can you fix that?

 

Since I am on a low-end PC, I do see some texture issues near the dealer. If I turn my graphics up, the textures goes into panic mode. Please fix that!

P.S. After all, it's a good map!

i can only play the build your own farm version,  ive downloaded all mods listed for the 4x version but i cant start a career in farm-manager mode. im new to PC gaming so any help would be greatly appreciated please 

Is there a way where i can remove a prebuild farm to build my own?

You have two options when it comes to this. 

First option being download the UMRV (Build your own farm) edition. Honestly this is the best and easiest way to make your own farms on this map, however all of the farms will be blank, so if you want to keep the others as they are in the original map for detail sake, then use the second option.

Second option is to learn how to use giants editor to remove the buildings you do not want on the farm you're using. You will also need to understand how to find and remove stuff in the placables.xml if you intend to remove any of the animal pens or straw blowers.

Nice map, water has flickering issues when looked at at certain angels. Also, you need to make the fermenting silo a placeable can because some farms don't have them.

I can't get the new save to load past 85% in single player. But it loads in multiplayer but I don't have a farm.

I am having this same problem too! it really sucks since this looks like a really fun game to play on. I've downloaded all the mods that were required but its still stuck on 85%

I figured it out if you create a multiplayer server on this map you get all the farms and you just have to play in multiplayer.

just moved entire operation to century farms and the milk trigger doesn't work :/ any suggestions on how to troubleshoot. at this point i might even attempt to learn giants editor to investigate. really killing me

I am having a couple issues with pigs at Dry Creek Ranch.  The pigs visually appear in random places on the map (for example in the middle of field 7, 26, etc.).  Also, when I try to sell pigs at the Animal Dealer, the trigger only links to the Dry Creek Ranch pig sty.  It seems like the pig sty is covering a very large portion of the map for some reason.

hi i have a Major bug issues when i bought from the store a  TLX truck, Trailer, and 2x Tanks to fill with fertilizer and seeds i was driving back to my farm and my truck and trailer was flying after going though the stop lights. My Log is clean of any mods issues if you find a fix let me know.

That is not a mod conflict. Rather, the map is set up with invisible walls at stop lights so you can't plow through ;)

hi so when the traffic lights change will the invisible will disappear (just for red lights)?

Yes, when the light is green, the invisible wall will disappear!

Does this map have earcorn on it?

Hey guys, 

anyone else having this weired lagging/stuttering issue? (Not shader caching after a settings change!) When you drive up and down in the same spot, every like 50 meters, there is about half a second with some noticable stuttering. I am running an i9-9900KF @ 5.1 GHz and a RTX 3090, performance obviously is great in any other game or map on FS22.

Is anyone else having an issue with the grain dryers only showing the amount of corn and dried corn in them?  Even though you can load other crops like soybeans, wheat, etc.

Same issue loading wheat into main silo. Grain does not show as being in my silo.

Seems to give "No more Interval timers" error in the console and if you try to save it's just stuck there. Shame :|
No other mods except the ones required and anhydrous.


EDIT: Looks the No more interval timers is not related to the map, but the saving problem is only on this map, quite odd.

Is there a way to upgrade/update the silo textures? They look blocky compared to most everything else on the map.

I think that has to do with the traffic signals.. when it's green you can go.

Great map.  Not a fan of the color of the water.  Seems like transmission fluid or toxic waste.  Sorry.

We tried to put down additional pens for animals and it says that we cannot.  Can you only use the prebuilt animal facilities in the map.  I suppose this could be a rogue mod doing something.

In real life Iowa is to the west and Wisconsin it to the east.

Are  you using the More Animal Husbandries Possible (64) mod that is linked above that will allow you to put down more pens

Interested in this very much, So I installed it. when i entered the game though none of the parking lots have pavement its all water and also water in all the low lying areas?

Is anyone having the issue of  buying a production point “in town” but when you driver items they just sell off? We are playing a multiplayer but only one farm. 

hello everyone! Does anybody has the issue with harvest contracts? 

We’ve launched multiplayer and we got only 2 contracts at the start, after it all the npc grown crops  got rotten without any contract call. Also we’ve noticed that we do fertilizing contracts every month of the year in some fields 5-6 times a year…a bit tired of it already🤪 what could be a problem? 

We use basic precision farming, lime contracts, renew contracts and delivery contracts mods on the server. 

Does anybody face the same issues with contracts, guys? Really love the map, and disappointed by such issues.

Hi! I am playing same map. I suggest to download mod Better Contracts where You can adjust lot of things. Feature You are talikng about is "Lazy NPC" feature in that mod, where You can put all NPCs to be lazy and give most of works to contracts. I recomend to download it directly from GitHub, since version there is more recent than in Modhub.

TIP: all new contracts are generated in first 10-15 min. of first day of the month after midnight. Sometimes NPC "decides" to do it itself and contract disapears before You can accept it.

this has not worked for us, using better contracts. Many good fields still go withered. 

The new Giants patch is conflicting with your map. Will there be an update to work with the new patch?

FS22_UMRV_4X.zip\maps\mapUS\shaders\terrainShader.xml


At the end of the getPatchCoords method in the terrainShader.xml there is this line:

return pos + instanceData.xy;


Add in the following line directly above it:

pos *= instanceData.w;


So it should look like:

pos *= instanceData.w;

return pos + instanceData.xy;


No doubt DJ Modding will release an update at some stage.  This problem will exist for all modded maps prior to 1.9.1.  Opening and saving in the latest Giants Editor may also fix it (I assume, I haven't tried).

Opening and saving in the new GE did not fix it. As not all people are willing to edit their xml, the message was more to see if a patch by DJ Modding would be coming.

Could you update the terrain shader and optimize the map a bit? For low-performance computers it is difficult even with the graphics to a minimum, I don't know if you could remove some objects, cars or placeables that you think overload the map otherwise a very entertaining map to play I've already played 250 hours on this map alone

So everyone with a decent pc has to play a low quality map because of your cheap pc. Upgrade your pc. It is just fine on mine.

Hello, im really loving this map so far. But it seems that the harvest contracts are to tight or something. Done 4 harvest contracts and all 3 contracts got stuck at 99%. It was field 1,45,12

Hi! I am playing same map. I suggest to download mod Better Contracts where You can adjust success %. I recomend to download it directly from GitHub, since version there is more recent than in Modhub.

any plan for adding maize plus option on the sillage silo (blue silo)?

Hi, thanks for creating a lovely map. In version 1 it was possible to store corn stalks and bean stalks in a silo but that does not work in v2. Is this intentional?

It does get stored but it just doesn't show as being in the silo under stored products. I fixed my copy by taking the needed lines from  the V1 placeables grain dryer xml for the associated farm and putting it the V2 xml. I am not sure if this was intended and I know this may not answer your question but wanted to at least let you know it can be stored. If you go to the silo after dumping it should pop up as a selectable output.

I also want to add that the mod "Upgradeable factories" does not  work with this. I copied the xml files from v1 to v2 but I just got "no spare capacity for corn stalks" until I disabled "Upgradeable factories"

i notice on 44 buy area if you buy the field it doesnt change the 44 color until you buy the whole chunk of forest and the rest of the map area combined with that 

funny bug, i was harvesting soy beans in the snow, once I was finished and drove into a snowless shed, it dumped about 50k of straw on the shed floor haha.

This is a Giant's issue, not a map issue. This will happen on every map. I discovered while playing elm creek shortly after release.

Does anyone know how to delete this wagon with the two bales in it (decoration).  I can't delete or see it in the Giants Editor.



This is on circle farms.  I deleted the stock building and put my own, so it looks a bit different. 

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks so much for the map mate, having a blast.

One bug I've noted - Circle Farm grain bin it refills itself lol, took out 46k of grain and it reappeared.

it also doesn't show how much is stored.

That's also happening with me.  Same thing with the hay silo.
